Who we are

Flat Coffee operates two coffee shops in Dublin — Flat Coffee Walkinstown and Flat Coffee AYLESBURY — and this loyalty app. You can contact us at hello@flatcoffeeroasters.ie.

What we collect

• Your name and email address, used to create and sign in to your account.
• Your loyalty activity: credits earned and spent, rewards claimed, visits and the shop you visited.
• Prepaid balance top-ups. Card details are entered directly with our payment provider, Square, and never stored by us.
• Optional preferences, such as favourite drinks and notification settings.

Why we use it

To run your loyalty account, award and redeem credits, process top-ups, show your activity and send you offers or reward reminders you have opted into. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising by third parties.

Camera and contactless tags

The camera is only used when a code is being scanned at the till. Contactless (NFC) tag reading is only used when you tap the plaque on our counter. Neither is used in the background, and no images are stored.

Who we share it with

Only service providers who help us run the app: our hosting and database provider, and Square for payments. They process your information on our instructions.

Keeping and deleting it

We keep your account information while your account is open. You can ask us to delete your account and its history at any time by emailing hello@flatcoffeeroasters.ie, and we will do so within 30 days, except where we must keep payment records by law.

Your rights

Under GDPR you can request a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us and we will respond within one month.

Children

The app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app.
